Designing a life you truly love entails strong discipline, kick ass habits, commitment, and positive attitude. Practicing positive affirmations and incantations daily can help support your progress.

If you are like me who seeks to live mindfully, become a better version of yourself, have an attitude of gratitude, be a miracle worker and shine your Positive Chick light to the world, then, you must have your own classic self-help books about the magic and power of applying positive affirmations. The goal behind this idea is to repeat powerful phrases on a consistent basis until your mind will begin to believe it. Louise Hay’s book, You Can Heal Your Life, is a great book if you want to know more about positive affirmations.

It goes without saying that if you keep affirming negative phrases about yourself over and over again, your subconscious mind will begin to accept them and it will then become your new belief system.

Little did I know, I actually practiced incantations in my younger years, thanks to my parents especially my mom who practiced Christianity. I have forgotten about this until I was reminded by one of my mentors, Tony Robbins. From what I gather through his books, CD’s and videos online, incantations are much more powerful compared to that of positive affirmations. Why? Because the latter involves a strong marriage between your emotions and physiology along with expressing those powerful phrases.  I’ve listed below a few examples that you can model and I encourage you to create your own rather than searching for answers online.

ACTION STEPS:

  1. Grab 2 clean sheets of paper.
  2. On the first sheet, write down negative phrases you find yourself using whether alone or with others.

      EXAMPLE:

  • I am fat.
  • I am not good enough.
  • I’m broke.
  • I’m surrounded with negative people.
  • I’m depressed.
  • I’m a failure.

     “What you focus you become.”

     “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t you’re right.” – Henry Ford

   3.  On the second sheet of paper write down positive affirmations and incantations and start to generate feelings of unwavering faith.

   EXAMPLE:

  • I am happy and grateful now that I am 95 lbs. lighter!
  • The Universe has my back.
  • I am happily married to my soulmate.
  • I am healthy, prosperous, provided for and positively happy.        

    MY POSITIVE CHICK LIST OF KICK ASS POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS AND INCANTATIONS
  1. I am good enough.
  2. I choose positive thoughts only.
  3. I have unwavering faith.
  4. What I focus on becomes my reality. Therefore, I only focus on what I want.
  5. I am not defined by my past.
  6. I am happy and grateful now that I am a person of increase.
  7. I am a positive energy giver.
  8. I feed my mind, body, and soul that fuels my energy.
  9. This too shall pass.
  10. I love my life!
  11. I am in control of my feelings. I can change my mood in an instant.
  12. I am supported with unlimited riches.
  13. For my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory.
  14. I attract money easily and effortlessly.
  15. I am a miracle worker, healer, Positive Chick Energy Source wherever I go.
  16. I am a loving, thoughtful and amazing daughter, sibling, friend, soulmate and citizen.
  17. I attract only loving, supportive, successful and positive-minded people in my life.
  18. My customers, clients, Positive Chick Soul Sisters Tribe, and visitors love the products and services I provide.
  19. I am a source of positive energy and I bloom where I planted.
  20. I now command my subconscious mind to guide me to help as many soul sisters and brothers, by giving me the strength, compassion, quirky humor, courage, the confidence, the contagious energy, whatever it takes to show these souls and get them to change their mindset and transform their lives through my help now!
  21. When I feel depressed or if my energy is down, I know how to refocus my energy and get help from others.
  22. I don’t aim for perfection. I celebrate small and big progress.
  23. I only count my blessings.
  24. I am grateful for the negative circumstances, difficult people, and don’t take life too seriously.
  25. I am gentle with myself especially during times of low energy, sickness, and failure.God’s wealth circulates in my life. God’s wealth flows to me in avalanches of abundance; all my needs, desires, and goals are met instantaneously by infinite intelligence; and I give thanks for all of my good now and for all of God’s riches, for I am one with God and God is everything!
